We embrace the sustainability imperative as a moral responsibility, an economic opportunity and a driver of innovation. Our mission is to be a catalyst for change and part of the global sustainability movement using our skills, voice, and relationships to make a positive impact for our clients and on the world.
As the first company in the meetings and events industry to sign the UN Global Compact in 2007, MCI is a pioneer and thought leader in the development of sustainable events and has won over 20 awards for our work with clients and the community.
From that base, we have expanded our portfolio to deliver over 850 projects about sustainable development issues. The security of attendees, suppliers and employees is a priority for MCI. We have robust processes in place for assessing the Health & Security risks of each of our 5,000+ annual events. Our global health and safety audit tool, which is mandatory for every event, produces an automatic report based on ten comprehensive criteria, from food safety, to venue security and transport.
This is complemented by the implementation of a detailed evaluation system provided by an official 3rd party security service. This real-time evaluation provides with the latest information on the risk levels of each host country’s geopolitical and criminal factors.
Acts of terrorism have been spread around the world significantly in the past 2 years. At MCI we are monitoring these unfortunate developments with heightened vigilance and as a result we have dedicated more time and resources towards strengthening our security protocols when organising events in high-risk regions.
Additionally, we have redesigned our crisis management practice to reflect the robust training of our staff and our strong commitment to Health & Security of our attendees, suppliers and employees.
At MCI we are constantly innovating our approach to Health & Security for ensuring that our attendees stay always up-to-date and safe in wherever their event is taking place.
